The Ummah Less Privileged, Orphans & Widows Charity Foundation (ULPO & WCF) is a community-based charity organization working in Damaturu and surrounding communities in Yobe State, Nigeria. We exist to provide comprehensive support and care to less-privileged orphans, widows, and vulnerable individuals.
Working alongside partners such as UNHCR, UNICEF, UNDP and GISCOR, we deliver education, healthcare, economic empowerment, shelter, psychosocial support and advocacy programs that help families break the cycle of poverty and rebuild their lives with dignity.
Everything we do is guided by a simple belief — every orphan, widow and vulnerable person deserves dignity, opportunity and care.
To provide holistic support and care to less privileged orphans, widows, and vulnerable communities — addressing their physical, emotional and psychological needs, and empowering them to achieve self-sufficiency and dignity.
A world where every orphan, widow and vulnerable individual has access to quality education, healthcare, economic opportunities and social support — enabling them to thrive and reach their full potential.
Compassion, dignity, integrity and community-led social justice guide every program we deliver — advocating always for the rights of those we serve.
From skills training to psychosocial support, our programs are designed around the real needs of the communities we serve.
